Job summary

Bow Wave LLC seeks a GIS Specialist (Senior Engineer) to perform systems analysis, concept and design, and program development within the GIS data processing specialty. The role includes preparing and implementing user/project setups, designing databases, automation, and related procedures, and maintaining GIS software and databases.

Digitizing tasks are performed as needed. The candidate should have a BA/BS in a relevant field and multiple years of GIS experience with ESRI software, including

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Geography, Natural Resources Management, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or Computer Sciences.
• 3 to 5 years of GIS production work using ESRI software.
• 3 years of more of Python, Arcade, and/or Modelbuilder.
• Substitution via ESRI training courses within the last two years may replace some experience/time requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs systems analysis, concept and design, and program development, implementation, and documentation in GIS.
• Maintains the GIS databases and digitizing tasks as needed.
