Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in GIS, Geography, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Three to five years of GIS experience required; stormwater/wastewater utility experience preferred.
• Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Online; web map/app creation and spatial data management required.

Schedule: M-F 8-5. 1 day onsite, 4 days remote

An established organization is seeking a skilled GIS QA Associate/ Analyst to support strategic planning, infrastructure management, and operational decision-making. This position combines GIS data stewardship with spatial analysis, workflow automation, and dashboard development to improve business processes. The selected professional will ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical spatial datasets across stormwater management and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the accuracy, quality, and overall integrity of spatial datasets through rigorous QA/QC protocols
• Identify data gaps, perform data comparisons, and execute complex data design and engineering tasks
• Deliver advanced geospatial analyses that support operational decisions, planning, and infrastructure management
• Automate GIS workflows to increase efficiency and streamline spatial data management
• Create intuitive web maps, applications, and dashboards utilizing ArcGIS Online to transform spatial data into clear insights
• Partner with stakeholders to optimize stormwater business processes and data systems

Required Qualifications

Education: A Master’s degree in GIS, Geography, Data Science, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

Experience: Three to five years of dedicated GIS experience is required. Experience supporting asset management programs and Capital Improvement Program planning is highly preferred. Strong preference for experience in stormwater/wastewater utilities.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS Online is required, with a focus on web map and app creation. Strong skills in GIS data management, spatial analysis, and data engineering are necessary. Knowledge of transportation or stormwater utilities is advantageous.
