Job summary

IG Consulting is seeking a GIS Project Manager to lead geospatial projects from planning through deployment. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing scope, schedule, and budgets, and delivering high-quality GIS solutions centered on data governance and stakeholder alignment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in GIS project management, strong communication, and experience with ArcGIS platforms. Hybrid work with 2x weekly in San Ramon office is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of GIS and project management experience.
• Experience managing complex technology or GIS projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end GIS project lifecycle including requirements, design, development, and deployment.
• Define project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Manage cross-functional GIS teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee GIS solution design and implementation (e.g., ArcGIS, Enterprise GIS).
• Ensure data quality, governance, and standards compliance.
• Monitor project performance, risks, and KPIs.
• Provide executive-level reporting and updates.
