Location: Salt Lake City hybrid work model.

Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced GIS candidate who can help advance our GIS and mapping capabilities. The position will be focused on supporting the Operations team by managing the day-to-day GIS mapping/annotations for our AI Machine Learning technology Blyncsy.AI, and support for other staff (including demos, system training, and correspondence).

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Blyncsy Operations team to run Blyncsy.AI implementations and projects with customers globally.
• GIS mapping, annotations, Blyncsy.AI projects, and support for our products.
• Collection, manipulation, analysis, and visualization of spatial data.
• Covering multiple types of data, classifications, and coordinate reference systems (CRS).
• Provide integral feedback on the product (and company) roadmap.
• Organization and effective time management are critical to meet project deadlines and client deliverables.

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in GIS support or related field.
• Experience with GIS/mapping and geospatial concepts.
• Ability to speak professionally to customers, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Ability to explore new mapping tools and put them to use through trial and error.
• Be able to work independently with customers to understand requirements and collaboratively develop solutions.
• Ability to think critically about logistics and help drive the process.
• History of working well with a small, cross-functional team.
• This position may require some travel.
• Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.
