Job summary
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a GIS & Modeling Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team in Cincinnati, OH. This role focuses on GIS software support (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, and related tools) and will collaborate with senior IT staff to learn workflows and system requirements.
The position emphasizes customer service, documentation, and process improvement, with opportunities for growth into design technology areas and occasional travel.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of GIS experience primarily using ArcGIS Pro.
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, and Mobile Apps.
- Excellent customer service is required for the role.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Provide high level customer service consistent with IT best practices.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and escalation of GIS issues.
- Develop documentation for new and existing workflows.
- Prepare implementation of policies, procedures, and standards.
- Collaborate to improve automation efforts.
- Assist with testing new software, service packs, and patches.
- Support Hazen’s GIS standards and workflows.
- Occasional travel may be required.
