Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a GIS & Modeling Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on supporting GIS and Modeling software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME, and more) and expanding into design technology tools.

You will learn system administration, software support, Microsoft Office, and general IT information while collaborating with senior ITS team members on existing workflows and requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of GIS experience, primarily using ArcGIS Pro
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, and Mobile Apps
• Excellent customer service is required for a support role
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a wide range of technology

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level customer service aligned with IT best practices
• Troubleshoot GIS issues and escalate when needed
• Develop documentation for new and existing workflows
• Prepare implementation of policies, procedures, and standards
• Collaborate to improve automation efforts
• Assist testing of new software, service packs, and patches
• Support Hazen's GIS standards and workflows
• Occasional travel may be required

Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a GIS & Modeling Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team. This role will be primarily responsible for supporting GIS and Modeling software and systems (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME, InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM, ICM Cloud Projects, and more). There will be opportunities for expanded growth and responsibilities in design technology (Civil 3D, Revit, Autodesk Forma, and more) as we continue to integrate all these systems.

This position will work with senior members of the ITS Team to learn and understand existing workflows and system requirements. Candidates should be willing to learn and develop skills specific to System Administration, Software Support, Microsoft Office, and general IT Information.

Candidates should possess strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication skills. Required Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of GIS experience primarily using ArcGIS Pro
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, and Mobile Apps
• As this is a support role excellent customer service is required
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn and adapt to a wide range of technology

Preferred Qualifications:

• An understanding of ESRI licensing is preferred
• Experience with Administration of ArcGIS Online or Enterprise is preferred
• Python and Model Builder experience is also preferred
• Experience working within a Helpdesk environment is preferred
