Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a GIS Specialist to support projects across engineering, planning, architecture, and water resources. You will collaborate with a GIS team to support field data collection, GIS database development, and mapping efforts that advance communities and improve infrastructure.

The role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to Esri ArcGIS technologies, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Experience Builder, and StoryMaps, with onsite work at OHM locations in OH

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems,Planningor related field, with a focus on GIS preferred.
• Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Proven work building and launching ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGISStoryMaps.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, and community development.
• Experience creating map products with an understanding of basic cartographic principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work onsite at one of our OHM locations in OH or PA. Local candidates arepreferred.

Responsibilities

• Assistwith developing andmaintainingGIS databases for utility management and other infrastructure projects using ArcGIS Pro.
• Assistin the design and development of GIS database schemas.
• Design and launch public facing Esri ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGISStoryMaps.
• Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to support a variety of project needs.
• Participate in project meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Represent the firm professionally when interacting with internal teams, clients, and the public.
