Job summary
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a GIS & Modeling Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team in Cincinnati, OH. The role focuses on supporting GIS and Modeling software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise, FME, and more) and expanding into design technology tools.
You will learn system administration, software support, Microsoft Office, and general IT information while collaborating with senior ITS team members on existing workflows and requirements.
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of GIS experience, primarily using ArcGIS Pro
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, and Mobile Apps
- Excellent customer service is required for a support role
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a wide range of technology
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level customer service aligned with IT best practices
- Troubleshoot GIS issues and escalate when needed
- Develop documentation for new and existing workflows
- Prepare implementation of policies, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate to improve automation efforts
- Assist testing of new software, service packs, and patches
- Support Hazen's GIS standards and workflows
- Occasional travel may be required
