Job summary

OHM Advisors is seeking a GIS Specialist to support projects across engineering, planning, architecture, and water resources. You will work with a collaborative GIS team to develop databases, maps, and public-facing apps using ArcGIS Pro/Online.

Ideal candidates hold a GIS-focused bachelor’s degree and have experience with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and Experience Builder apps. Location is onsite at OHM locations in OH or PA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems, Planning or related field with GIS focus.
• Strong experience with Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Proven work building and launching ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGIS StoryMaps.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning, and community development.
• Experience creating map products with basic cartographic principles.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work onsite at OHM locations in OH or PA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and maintaining GIS databases for utility management and other infrastructure projects using ArcGIS Pro.
• Assist in the design and development of GIS database schemas.
• Design and launch public facing Esri ArcGIS Experience Builder apps and ArcGIS StoryMaps.
• Utilize ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online to support a variety of project needs.
• Participate in project meetings and professional development opportunities.
• Represent the firm professionally when interacting with internal teams, clients, and the public.
