Job summary

City of Republic seeks a GIS Specialist to manage authoritative GIS datasets and workflows. You will own data accuracy, metadata, and long-term usability, supporting city operations and public services with ArcGIS Pro and related tools.

You will also oversee drone imagery processes, orthomosaic production, and publication for city maps. Strong communication and training abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Two years of progressively responsible GIS experience required.
• Experience using ArcGIS Pro to create, edit, maintain, validate, and publish GIS data is required.
• Experience with ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the City’s authoritative GIS datasets with accuracy and long-term usability.
• Use ArcGIS Pro to create, edit, analyze, transform, document, and publish spatial data.
• Manage ArcGIS Online/Enterprise content, including feature services and dashboards.
• Plan and conduct drone flights; process and publish drone imagery and orthomosaic products.
• Support field data collection with ArcGIS Field Maps and Survey123; provide training and support.
