Job summary

Berks County PA is seeking an Assessment intern to assist in reviewing parcel change-detection analyses and compare with property assessment records in an office setting. The intern will help identify discrepancies between detected parcel changes and existing assessment data to support data quality and property review efforts.

The intern will work with GIS tools such as ArcGIS and QGIS, gain exposure to data verification processes, and contribute to maintaining organized tracking of reviewed

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in GIS or related field.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Two courses or experience in geospatial analysis, parcel mapping, or property data.

Responsibilities

• Review parcel change detection results from geospatial tools.
• Compare changes with current/historical assessment records.
• Identify and flag discrepancies for staff review.
• Document findings and track reviewed parcels.
• Assist with data verification and quality assurance.
