As proficiency grows, the position advances to more complex GIS tasks, provides guidance to staff, and helps improve departmental processes and workflows while serving the public and County departments.

Qualifications

• Performs routine and complex administrative duties in the Assessor's Office.
• Supports GIS and property data entry, research, and record maintenance.
• Responds to public inquiries and coordinates with county departments.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers in person or by phone; locates records and provides information.
• Uses GIS systems to enter, retrieve, and analyze data for parcel mapping.
• Prepares documents and reviews records for accuracy and statutory reporting.
• Trains with senior staff to develop GIS knowledge and support workflows.
