Job summary

ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking a GIS Analyst to transform spatial data into actionable insights for utility vegetation management and infrastructure planning. The role blends office work with occasional field coordination, shaping maps, dashboards, and reports that support safe, reliable networks.

You will analyze data, maintain GIS databases, and collaborate with field teams while developing automated workflows.

Qualifications

1–2 years of GIS software and databases experience incl. ESRI Suite.
Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, or related field.
Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS).
Experience with spatial data formats and coordinate systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret spatial data to support utility vegetation management programs.
Create, maintain, and update GIS databases, maps, and dashboards.
Perform spatial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support field crews with reports, maps, spreadsheets.
Collaborate with field teams to integrate GPS data into GIS systems.
Generate reports and visualizations for decision-making and regulatory compliance.
