Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Urban/Regional Planning, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum two years GIS experience. Experience with Esri ArcGIS platform (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
Knowledge of GIS principles, spatial analysis, geodatabase design, and cartography.
Familiarity with urban/regional planning concepts and local government contexts.

Responsibilities

Support GIS project planning, scheduling, and execution under the GIS Project Manager.
Perform spatial analysis, data processing, and geoprocessing tasks to support planning projects.
Assist in developing project scopes, deliverables, and timelines for tasks.
Ensure quality and timeliness of GIS deliverables and documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project success.
Prepare maps, reports, and documentation for partners and managers.
Assist in evaluating new GIS technologies and tools for planning decisions.
Coordinate with IPS agencies and staff for licensing and configuration of GIS products.
Deliver training to staff, students, and local government personnel on GIS tools.
