Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Geography, GIS, or related field.
• Internship or 1+ year of professional GIS experience.
• Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS 10.x (Basic-Advanced).
• Experience with geodatabase creation and ArcCatalog data management.
• Experience in GPS data post-processing and Trimble field data collection.
• Programming/scripting experience (Python, Shell, VB, Javascript).
• Familiarity with ESRI SDE and SQL Server databases.

Responsibilities

• Develop GIS datasets, exhibits, and web maps across multiple disciplines.
• Gather, analyze, and integrate GPS data collected in the field and via UAV.
• Perform spatial analysis using aerial imagery, elevation, and landcover data.
• Create data collection forms and compute environmental impacts.
• Design and update GIS databases; support ESRI-based workflows and web apps.
• Assist field staff with GPS operation and environmental data collection.
