Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Senior GIS and Environmental Data Professional in Blue Bell or Pittsburgh, PA. Hybrid work options are available. The role focuses on leading GIS and data management for environmental and infrastructure projects, including routing, siting, and permitting.

The candidate will manage staff, develop workflows, and ensure data quality across diverse datasets using ArcGIS and EQuIS, with GPS and field data collection integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of GIS/database experience; leadership experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and EQuIS for environmental data management, analysis, and visualization.
• Experience with SQL, Python, VBA for automation and data workflows.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership and manage, mentor, and develop project staff.
• Compile, verify, analyze, and report large datasets; apply statistical models for route and siting studies.
• Develop workflows and metadata to automate data compilation and data serving to maps/reports.
• Design GIS projects using ArcGIS; manage GIS data in projects and environments.
• Coordinate data collection with internal/external providers and GPS/mobile tools.
• Interact with clients and regulators; support environmental permitting and infrastructure projects.
• Travel to client sites or project locations as needed.
