Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants is seeking a Project to Senior GIS and Environmental Data Professional in Blue Bell, PA or Pittsburgh, PA. Hybrid options are available and you will lead GIS/data projects across routing, permitting, water resources, and geotechnical domains.

You will design workflows, manage large datasets, and produce data visualization outputs with ArcGIS, EQuIS, and related tools while coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in geography, computer science, earth sciences or related field
• Advanced degree in the same preferred
• 7+ years of experience in database technology and GIS (8+ preferred)
• Experience supervising and mentoring staff
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and/or EQuIS ecosystems (required)
• VBA/SQL scripting and Python automation preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentor project staff
• Analyze and report large datasets; apply statistical models for route/site studies
• Develop workflows and metadata to automate data compilation
• Design GIS projects using ESRI ArcGIS software
• Manage GIS and data management projects including scope, schedule, budget
• Interact with clients and regulators and support data visualization for projects
