Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Athens, PA office, is seeking a GIS Analyst to provide technical GIS support and data development. You will create GIS datasets, exhibits, and web maps while managing data across environmental, ecological, and solid waste projects.

You will collect GPS data, analyze imagery and elevation data, and assist application teams with ESRI workflows. You will join a team that supports flexible/hybrid work arrangements and a benefits program including

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, or related field
• Previous internship experience or 1+ year professional GIS experience
• Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS 10.x Suite (Basic, Standard, Advanced)
• Experience with geodatabase creation and data management
• Experience with GPS data collection and processing
• Experience with programming/scripting (Python, Shell, VB, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with ESRI SDE/SQL Server databases

Responsibilities

• Develop GIS data sets, exhibits, and web maps for diverse clients
• Manage GIS data across multiple project disciplines (environmental, ecological, solid waste)
• Analyze GPS data collected in the field and from UAV operations
• Support ESRI-based workflows and web applications with data and procedures
• Assist in GPS operation and environmental data collection in the field
