Job summary

Apex Engineering Group seeks a GIS Analyst to support the GIS Coordinator across a range of projects in multiple North Dakota offices. You will handle data analysis, advanced map development, and ArcGIS automation, with opportunities for growth into consulting services.

The role requires 3–5 years of ESRI GIS experience, CAD familiarity, and strong communication skills. Travel within the region may be required; a valid driver's license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with ESRI GIS suite including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Experience configuring Survey123, Field Maps, Dashboards, Story Maps, Web App Builder or Experience Builder.
• Knowledge of GIS in land development, government, planning, water resources, or transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare advanced detailed maps and GIS automation.
• Develop presentation-quality maps for internal use.
• Acquire and integrate spatial data into the GIS.
• Maintain data quality controls and documentation.
• Collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.
