Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age.
• One (1) year of coaching experience in the sport assigned.
• CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to enroll and complete a CPR/First Aid course.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintaining high academic standards for all student-athletes.
• Works cooperatively with the Head Athletic Coach(es) to operate a well-balanced athletic program.
• Serves as a positive influence on the behavior of staff and teams.
• Engages and directs the team at varsity events and supports junior varsity and freshman contests.
• Manages inventory of sports equipment and care of supplies.
• Organizes systems for recruiting equipment managers, scorekeepers, statisticians, ball runners, etc.
• Ensures athletes have undergone and passed medical examinations before season begins.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

One (1) year of coaching experience in the sport assigned

CPR and First Aid Certification or ability to enroll and successful complete a CPR and First Aid training course
