Job summary

The Eugene School District 4J is seeking an Assistant Coach for the 2026/27 season to support planning, development, and execution of interscholastic athletics policies. You will work under the head coach to organize athletic programs and meet district requirements.

You will collaborate with diverse students and staff while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with state laws, OSAA, and NFHS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic aspects of the sport.
• Understanding of state, conference, league rules and regulations.
• Must meet OSAA standards for coaching and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, development, and implementation of interscholastic athletics policies and procedures.
• Support the head coach in organizing and conducting athletic programs.
• Demonstrate respectful teamwork and maintain professional conduct with students and staff.
