The position emphasizes biosecurity, vaccination compliance, and optimization of gilt health and growth, with travel to central Minnesota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently.
• Strong understanding of gilt development and sow farm flow experiences.
• Excellent communication, judgment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule gilt movements with multiplier and designated farms.
• Visit GDUs to ensure gilt development protocols are followed and staff trained.
• Communicate with sow units on animal arrival, vaccinations, and shipping dates.
