Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GCPS AKS curriculum and content in field of certification.
• Ability to integrate curriculum with GCPS policies and effective instructional practices.
• Understand the teaching/learning process and infuse technology to increase student learning.
• Work effectively with administrators, colleagues, central office, school staff, students, parents, and community.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong human relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan learning experiences based on the AKS curriculum and create an environment conducive to student development.
• Demonstrate command of the subject matter and develop instructional objectives aligned to AKS.
• Assess student work and modify resources to support learning.
• Organize content and present information in logical sequences and blocks of steps.
• Utilize research-based instructional strategies and provide formative and summative assessments.
