The Brook in Seabrook, NH is hiring a Gift Shop Salesclerk. base pay is $18.00 per hour for a full-time, non-exempt position at our Seabrook location. You will help guests with sales, merchandise, and daily shop operations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist gift shop guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process purchases, exchanges, and refunds accurately.
• Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, and special events.
• Stock, price, and organize merchandise displays.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments.
• Assist with inventory counts and inventory control.
• Package and wrap merchandise for guests.
• Keep the gift shop clean, organized, and well-stocked.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to operate computers, cash registers, and retail equipment
• Positive attitude and professional appearance
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Dependable attendance and ability to follow directions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Must be at least 21 years of age
