Job summary

SSA Group is seeking an Assistant Retail Operations Manager to oversee multiple Gift Shop and Gift Kiosk locations in a dynamic retail environment. The role focuses on leadership, talent development, payroll budgeting, and ensuring superior guest experiences for partners and clients.

You will drive merchandising standards, manage payroll within budget, and coordinate with store leadership on inventory and sales analytics.

Qualifications

• Two to three years retail management experience preferred.
• Visual merchandising experience necessary.
• All education backgrounds eligible; must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Show dynamic leadership and motivate staff to exceed customer and client expectations.
• Hire, recruit, onboard, supervise, evaluate, coach and manage payroll within budget.
• Develop training programs to train, motivate and mentor employees.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws; maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Manage inventory controls and maximize sales through proper merchandising.
• Record daily, weekly, and monthly sales using internal ledger and analyze performance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain POS functionality for daily operations.
