Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Gift Shop Operations Coordinator to support department management, budgeting, inventory, and quality control across gift shop locations. The role involves assisting with human resources, vendor relations, and fundraising events under the Auxiliary Gift Shop Committee.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years retail experience.
• Strong willingness to support fundraising and vendor relations.

Responsibilities

• Assists manager with managing merchandise and buying operations including attending trade shows and inventory.
• Assists with promotions and marketing tools to drive sales.
• Forecasts and manages gift shop costs, revenues and department expenses; helps budget standards.
• Guides personnel; trains and mentors staff; ensures adequate coverage.
• Manages and troubleshoots the Point of Sale system.
• Oversees fundraising events and maintains relationships with vendors and sponsors.
• Supports Special projects for the Auxiliary Gift Shop Committee and attends meetings.
• Ensures compliance with hospital and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
