Job summary

Arizona Charlie's Decatur and Boulder seeks a Gift Shop Clerk to be the face of the retail experience, assisting guests with purchases, handling transactions, and keeping merchandise well-stocked and attractively displayed. You will ensure accuracy at the POS and uphold privacy and safety standards.

The role requires strong customer service, cash handling, and teamwork. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced casino environment and comply with gaming regulations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of retail, customer service, or cash-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Skilled in operating calculators and POS systems for retail transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Sell Gift Shop merchandise, including pre-packaged food and beverage (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), while operating a POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and restock merchandise to ensure displays remain full, clean, and visually appealing; report inventory discrepancies or low stock to leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of property amenities, services, events, and hours of operation to assist and guide guests effectively.
• Accurately handle assigned cash bank, maintain balance throughout the shift, and follow proper cash handling procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and company data per privacy policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards; perform other duties as assigned.
