Paradise Point Resort and Spa in San Diego is seeking a friendly Gift Shop Attendant to greet guests, assist with product selections and ensure a superior shopping experience on our waterfront property.

You will maintain an inviting shop, handle sales, and share product knowledge while supporting a welcoming guest service culture. The role requires excellent communication, a neat presentation, and weekend/evening availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and handle cash transactions.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking.
• Knowledge of merchandise presentation and display.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with guests, providing outstanding customer service
• Maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked gift shop
• Assist guests in finding and selecting products
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide recommendations and information about products
• Keep track of inventory and replenish stock as needed
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the gift shop
• Promote special offers and promotions to enhance sales
