Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas is seeking a Gift Processing Specialist to lead the receipt, processing, recording, and acknowledgment of charitable contributions. You will ensure accurate recording of gifts and pledges, maintain compliance with CASE standards and IRS regulations, and support donor stewardship and reporting.

Collaboration with University Advancement, Finance, HR, Payroll, and other campus units will ensure proper gift administration, payroll deduction processing, and data

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2-year college equivalent or experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years in gift processing, donor services, or related administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, process, and record charitable contributions including cash, checks, and card payments.
• Generate donor acknowledgments and tax receipts; ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Analyze gifts to determine campaign designations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare reports supporting donor stewardship and compliance.
• Collaborate with campus departments to ensure proper gift administration and record management.
• Update constituent records and assist with gift entry operations.
