Job summary

Southwest Endoscopy is seeking a GI Technologist to join our fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The role involves assisting the endoscopy team, preparing sterile setups, managing inventory, and supporting patient care under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, handling instrument processing, and ensuring proper equipment maintenance and safety checks. Prior ASC experience is preferred, with a focus on teamwork and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care in ambulatory settings.
• Ability to work as part of a surgical team in a fast-paced ASC.
• Adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist endoscopy team during procedures.
• Prepare and inventory sterile setup and supplies.
• Maintain inventory and central supply control.
• Ensure safe patient transfer and positioning.
• Deliver patient care per RN direction and center policies.
• Support instrument processing and cleaning.
