Job summary

SCA Health is hiring an Endoscopy Technician to join our team. This role supports endoscopy procedures, assists the endoscopist, and helps ensure patient safety and efficient room turnover in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include equipment handling, sterile supply management, and active participation in safety and quality initiatives with a multidisciplinary team. Prior GI tech experience and BCLS certification or progress toward it are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a GI Tech preferred.
• BCLS within 90 days or current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assist during endoscopy procedures by protecting the patient and assisting the endoscopist.
• Ensure patient safety, proper equipment operation, and adherence to infection prevention.
• Prepare, assemble, and organize sterile supplies and instruments for the procedure.
• Maintain an organized sterile field and provide instrument support during the procedure.
• Perform post-procedure cleaning and room turnover and participate in quality improvement tasks.
