Job summary

Georgia Endoscopy Center is seeking a PRN GI Technician/Scope Washer to join our outpatient GI team. You will work alongside physicians to support endoscopy procedures, properly reprocess scopes, and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients.

Responsibilities include equipment checks, patient flow assistance, accurate log maintenance, and stock management. A friendly, team-oriented setting with opportunities for professional growth and flexible staffing hours is offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• One year experience in an endoscopy environment required.
• Experience as a sterile processing tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment and supplies for endoscopy scope reprocessing.
• Check equipment for proper working order before reprocessing.
• Assist Pre-op with patient flow and maintain accurate logs.
• Maintain reprocessing logs and restock supplies as needed.
• Clean endoscope and dispose of soiled linen and trash after procedures.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and follow antiseptic procedures.
