Job summary

UMC Health System in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for GI and Surgical Services. The role involves assessing and coordinating nursing care for a patient group during day shifts, with on-call duties as needed. You will work within a multidisciplinary Endoscopy team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas RN license (or Compact), have a BSN within three years, and meet BLS/ACLS/PALS requirements. Acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Must have RN licensure in Texas or Compact licensure.
BSN must be obtained within three years of hire.
Minimum two years of nursing experience with acute care preferred.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for a patient group.
Delegate tasks and ensure continuity of care across shifts.
Collaborate with other units to optimize patient outcomes.
