The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist (Scheduling) for the GI East Clinic in NE Portland. You will schedule patients, collect insurance information, and support front desk and medical records teams in a fast-paced GI setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of work experience in a medical office (strongly preferred).
• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred; Epic experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
• Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments for new and established patients in an efficient and timely manner.
• Obtain and complete insurance information.
• Provide coverage for medical records and front desk teams.
• Update records as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned; maintain a fast-paced, high-volume scheduling environment.
