Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking an Endoscopy Technician for its GI program in NE Portland (Gateway) for a temporary part-time to possibly full-time role. The incumbent will join a collaborative Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center team with a focus on high-value patient care in a Northeast Portland setting.

Responsibilities include endoscope reprocessing, real-time documentation, equipment testing, and strict adherence to infection prevention standards.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Credentialed MA preferred.
• Central Service Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, high-level disinfection, and storage of endoscopes and accessories in accordance with facility policy, manufacturer guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Document all reprocessing activities accurately and in real time.
• Conduct routine testing and identify equipment issues.
• Ensure proper handling, transport, and storage of scopes to prevent damage or contamination.
• Follow infection prevention and control standards, including PPE use.
• Assist with other department duties as assigned.
