Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Patient Services Specialist for Orthopedics in NE Portland. This role supports patient check-in/out, scheduling, insurance information collection, and phone reception in a busy Orthopedics Clinic.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure a smooth, patient-centric experience, maintaining accuracy and high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of medical front office experience is preferred.
• EMR experience (Epic) is preferred.
• Familiarity with insurance and referral processes.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate work independently and multitask.
• Excellent attendance and professional communication with patients and team.

Responsibilities

• Check in and out new/established patients.
• Schedule and adjust patient appointments and surgeries per office protocols.
• Obtain and update insurance information.
• Answer phones on a multi-line system.
• Update patient records as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
