Job summary

Harris Health System, Inc. is seeking a Gastroenterology Technician I (GT I) to support the GI Lab team. You will prepare supplies, equipment, and rooms for GI procedures, handle specimens, and disinfect scopes according to standards, while assisting nursing and medical staff.

The role requires one year of patient care experience and a high school diploma, with BLS certification. Weekend, holiday, and on-call schedules are expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: BLS from AHA or Red Cross; other unit/service certificates.
• Work Experience: One year of patient care experience.
• Special Requirements: Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact).
• Other Skills: Medical terminology, PC.

Responsibilities
