Harris Health in Houston, TX seeks a Gastroenterology Technician I to support the GI Lab team. Responsibilities include preparing supplies, equipment and room for procedures, handling specimens, and cleaning/disinfecting scopes to standards.

You will troubleshoot equipment and assist nursing and medical staff while maintaining patient safety and communication. Minimum requirements are a High School diploma and one year of patient care experience, plus Basic Life Support or equivalent

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of patient care experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare supplies, equipment and room for GI procedures.
• Handle specimens and clean/disinfect scopes and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment as needed and maintain sterile technique.
• Demonstrate professional communication and teamwork.
