Denver Health is seeking a GI Laboratory Technician to support endoscopic procedures, room preparation, and specimen handling in a high-volume GI lab. You will work with physicians, nurses, and medical staff to ensure smooth procedure flow and patient safety.

The role requires 1-3 years of related hospital experience, a high school diploma or GED, and BLS/CPR certification. Training on Epic and Provation charting is valued, with opportunities for professional growth within DH GI Lab PAV L.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program highly desired.
• 1-3 years of experience as a medical professional assisting patients and medical teams.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• CMA, LPN, CNA, EMT, or CSPDT highly desired.
• Knowledge of Gastrointestinal procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Performs High Level Disinfection of endoscopy equipment.
• Processes patient intake.
• Prepares and disassembles rooms for procedures.
• Transports patient.
• Charts in medical record of physician observations and patient interactions.
• Collects patient biopsies and specimens.
• Assists physician and RN with invasive procedures and other duties to contribute to the flow of the unit.
• Assists physician in complicated procedures that utilize fluoroscopy.
