Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a patient care setting.
• Experience in a high acuity inpatient or procedural area preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Safely escort or transport patients to procedures in GI lab and OR.
• Ensure safe handling when transferring patients to the OR table.
• Maintain clean and operable equipment and supplies.
• Observe patient condition and communicate changes to RN or physician.
• Verify patient identification and prep details before procedure.
• Record vital signs and manage IVs per protocol.
• Document in EHR and Provation; schedule cases.
• Set up travel/procedural cart and manage supplies; assist GI team.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and nurses during procedures.
