Job summary

Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a GI Technician to support the GI Diagnostic Lab and related procedures. The role involves assisting physicians, nurses, and anesthesia staff, setting up and cleaning equipment, and maintaining sterile technique in the lab and OR areas.

The technician will pre-clean endoscopes, manage supplies, document in EHR/Provation, and help with procedures such as EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, and PEG placements. In-person work with weekday days shift is required.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to procedures and ensure safe transfers.
• Maintain clean, operable equipment and supplies.
• Document vital signs and procedure details in EHR/Provation.
• Assist GI physicians during endoscopic procedures and manage instruments.
