Prime Healthcare in Olympia Fields seeks a GI Lab RN to provide direct and indirect patient care for surgical and outpatient/inpatient units, following the nursing process from assessment through evaluation.

The role requires an active state RN license, BCLS and ACLS within 30 days, and a minimum of one year in acute care or GI lab settings, with moderate sedation competency required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care or outpatient surgery setting or GI lab.
• Moderate Sedation competency required within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care for GI lab, surgical and outpatient/inpatient units as assigned.
• Apply the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Communicate patient status and diagnostic results with physicians and care team.
• Adhere to hospital policies and participate in performance improvement activities.
