Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute care or outpatient surgery setting or G.I. lab.
• Completed Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care for GI lab, outpatient and inpatient procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, co-workers and nursing leadership about patient condition and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure continuous, quality patient care and efficient unit operation.
