Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the GI Lab at Evanston Hospital. This full-time day shift role includes a $10K sign-on bonus with 1 year GI/endoscopy experience, and the ability to float to neighboring hospitals as needed.

You will deliver safe nursing care, plan and evaluate patient care, and collaborate with the care team. IL RN license, BLS/ACLS, and prior critical care or ED experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred.
• Illinois RN license required; CPR/BLS and ACLS by American Heart Association.
• Critical Care/Emergency Department and telemetry experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration with care teams and patients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care by planning and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the clinical team to ensure outcomes.
• Float to Glenbrook, Skokie and Highland Park Hospitals as needed.
• Provide care in the GI Lab during day shift hours.
