Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital is seeking a GI LAB RN for the Endoscopy GI department. The role involves delivering direct and indirect patient care for surgical and invasive procedures, coordinating with physicians and care teams, and ensuring regulatory compliance in a fast-paced outpatient/inpatient setting.

You will work full-time days, 7:00am-3:30pm with on-call duties. Requires active RN license, BCLS, ACLS within 30 days, and 1+ year GI/outpatient surgery experience.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BCLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintain.
• ACLS within 30 days of hire and maintain.
• Minimum one year experience in acute care or outpatient surgery/GI lab.
• Moderate Sedation competency within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care for surgical/invasive procedures across age groups.
• Communicate patient condition and diagnostic results with physicians, staff, and leadership.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
• Ensure adherence to regulations, standards, and hospital policies; participate in performance improvement.

Education

Current and valid state RN License

Current BCLS (AHA) certificate

ACLS certificate

Moderate Sedation competency

One year acute care/outpatient surgery/G.I. lab experience
