Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing; BSN required or must complete within 5 years if hired without a BSN.
• Minimum of two years medical-surgical or equivalent experience; GI Lab experience preferred.
• Current California Nursing license; CGRN or related certification preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred; BLS and ACLS current; basic computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Conducts hourly patient rounds and SBAR hand-offs.
• Documents care using IPOC and Watson Model of Care per unit policies.
• Coordinates interdisciplinary discharge planning and collaborates with care managers.
• Maintains a safe, compliant environment and promotes patient rights.
