Job summary

The University of Louisville is seeking a Medical Residency Program Coordinator IV to oversee the Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition fellowship program. Working with the program director, division leadership, and the GME office, you will implement policies and processes compliant with national, state, and institutional guidelines to ensure fellows meet training requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in graduate medical education.
• Proficiency in residency/fellowship management software.
• Familiarity with national residency/fellowship guidelines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist program director with management of the fellowship training programs and reporting in multiple software systems.
• Oversee daily operational activities and special program activities.
• Manage program data in hardcopy files and online systems.
• Respond to inquiries regarding the fellowship and other training issues.
• Coordinate conferences and rotation schedules for faculty and fellows and ensure training requirements are met.
• Track fellowship expenses with the division coordinator and Financial Team.
