Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Institute for Academic Medicine in Charleston, WV, invites applications for a dynamic Program Director to lead our established Gastroenterology Fellowship program. The role provides strategic, educational, and administrative leadership and oversees all aspects of program administration to promote fellow success, faculty engagement, wellness, and academic achievement.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified in Gastroenterology.
• Three years of educational/administrative experience are required.
• Familiarity with ACGME requirements is essential.
• Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for all aspects of the ACGME-accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship Program.
• Ensure compliance with ACGME requirements.
• Design, implement, evaluate, and improve the fellowship curriculum.
• Recruit, supervise, mentor, and evaluate fellows.
• Ensure comprehensive clinical and procedural training in gastroenterology and related disciplines.
• Lead recruitment, development, and evaluation of faculty.
• Promote fellow well-being, professionalism, and patient safety.
• Support scholarly activity, quality improvement, and research.
• Represent the program within CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine and national gastroenterology education communities.
