Job summary

Prince William Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a Full-Time GI Technician to support physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures. You will assist with colonoscopies and endoscopies, prepare equipment, and ensure patient safety in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and collaborative, with a High School diploma and a history of reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required).
• Experience: Demonstrated longevity in past roles preferred (stability and reliability are highly valued).
• Previous experience as a GI Tech or Endoscopy Tech (preferred).
• Knowledge of sterile processing and medical equipment handling (preferred).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with GI procedures, including colonoscopies and endoscopies.
• Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensuring proper function and sterilization.
• Support physicians and nurses.
• Monitor and assist patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Stock and organize supplies to ensure a well-prepared procedure room.
