Job summary

SCA Health seeks an Endoscopy Technician to assist during endoscopy procedures, protect patients, and maintain sterile fields in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will prepare supplies, handle instruments, and support the endoscopist throughout procedures.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, preferred GI tech experience, and BCLS certification (or completion within 90 days). This is an on-site position in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior GI tech experience preferred.
• BCLS certification required or to be completed within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist during endoscopy procedures and protect patient safety.
• Maintain sterile fields and prepare equipment for procedures.
• Provide hand-off reports and participate in quality improvement projects.
• Demonstrate effective communication with the multidisciplinary team.
• Ensure scopes are prepared for use and equipment is functioning properly.
